User Interface and Design

When you’ll run the FilmoraGO app for the first time, it’ll show you a creative intro which is also made by FilmoraGo. After the intro, you’ll see an interface like below:-

You can start recording an awesome video right at the moment by clicking the “Camera” icon.

The Big Orange “New Project” button lets you import videos and photos available on your phone.

Import Videos and Photos

After clicking the import button, you’ll see all the Videos and Photos available on your phone. Alongside you’ll see an “Other” section and an “Album” icon. (Just Ignore all the meme content I have in my phone).

You can import up to 15 videos or photos from this page. Also, you can import content from a particular album by tapping on the “Album” icon.

Simultaneously, you can access some extra content on the “Other” section such as colours backgrounds and 5 countdown templates to create Top 5 videos.

Plus, after clicking once on a video, you’ll see a “Scissor” icon. By tapping that “Scissor” icon, a pop-up screen will be opened where you can trim the waste part of the selected video.

You can watch the video’s preview just by pressing and holding your thumb on a video.

After choosing the required content, and clicking the import button, you’ll see an interface like the below:-

You’ll see a back and an export button above the two undo-redo buttons. Alongside the play-pause function button and a full-screen button, a horizontal strip of useful features is here.

Just the buttons we actually need without any fluffy stuff. Plus, the calm grey colour background will make your editing less stressful and more creative.

Mixing, Splitting, and Trimming

After importing the photos if you still want to add more videos then you can do it by tapping the blue “Plus” sign in the middle right corner of the screen. Next, the gallery will be open and you can choose 15 videos, again and again As much time you want to do it. There is no time bondage.

You can trim a video by simply dragging the orange part of the video stripe.

Likewise, you can trim the video from the endpoint too.

Moreover, every icon in the bottom stripe consists of advanced features related to the icon.

You can click the “Scissor” icon to expand advanced trimming options. With these options, you can split one video into two parts, and make copies of videos and photos. Also, you can change the volume and speed of the video by using these features.

Music and Sound Effects

By tapping the music icon, you’ll see options of adding a music track, sound effects, extract audio and record voice. FilmoraGo gives you around 25+ music tracks and 30+ sound effects such as a broken mirror. All these songs and effects are non-copyright and free to use.

Still, if you have made your own music, you can add it in the video. Also, you can extract the audio of a particular video file. And can add your own voiceover to give your voiceover career a great kickstart.
